These are words, borrowed
so I may paint my thoughts.
Expect blues and grays,
but amongst them are jewels of radiant red and brilliant white.
May you find them precious and take them.
This is a blog about a man who, at 31, suddenly realised that life is slipping through his fingers (turning 30 on the other hand was no biggie). Time to take charge and build my life. It is a daunting task, one I have repeatedly failed at.
But I start, by laying a brick today, and for each day after that, till a wall becomes inevitable.
“A remarkable, glorious achievement is just what a long series of unremarkable, unglorious tasks looks like from far away No one “builds a house.” They lay one brick again and again and again and the end result is a house. Procrastinators are great visionaries—they love to fantasize about the beautiful mansion they will one day have built—but what they need to be are gritty construction workers, who methodically lay one brick after the other, day after day, without giving up, until a house is built.”
I know I am not alone. Welcome.
